手順：
1. Blackberry Desktop Software をダウンロードし、PCにインストールする
2. BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.2 をダウンロードし、PC にインストールする。*（v.4.2.1） は日本語入力できません。
3. 再起動したら、Enterprise Activation を実行して再起動
4. Alt + Enter をクリックして Input Language を 日本語 （Japan）に切り替える

Instructions for upgrading a blackberry handset

1. Goto http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
2. Select the link to your service provider
3. Select "Blackberry Desktop Software 4.3" in the pulldown menu
4. Choose Desktop Software v4.3 b25 without Media Manager (Multilang)
5. Now download this to your pc and run the installation

6. Goto http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
7. Select the link to your service provider
8. Select the specific BlackBerry Product (model number) that you have
9. Choose BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.2.*** (Chinese)
10. Now download this to your pc and run the installation

11. Start the Blacberry desktop manager and plug in your blackberry.
12. Desktop manager will prompt you that there is a new version
13. Proceed with the install

14. Make sure you select the backup option
15. Once your upgrade is complete, your Blackberry will take around 5 minutes to reboot.
16. Now you can proceed to unlock your phone
